Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day

Set in the late 1930's, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day follows Guinevere Pettigrew, a suddenly unemployed, middle-aged woman, who realises she must now seize the day as she's thrown into a world of glamour and fame.

The good bits: The sort of easy on the eye film, that you could take your mum to see with plenty of retro fashions to gawp at.

The bad bits: A few dodgy English accents here and there and the storyline is pretty predictable.
