Check out this week's snippets of news and gossip from the world of showbiz.
Strictly
The world of politics and showbiz are united in rallying round John Sergeant after he sensationally quit Strictly Come Dancing. The former political correspondent resigned from the competition yesterday after weeks of criticism from the judges. Celebrity supporter Cilla Black is seething, while Business Secretary Peter Mandelson says the BBC should have the man he dubbed the people's John Travolta, back.
I'm A Celebrity
There are two new contestants on I'm A Celebrity. Ex-Dollar star David Van Day and kids TV presenter Timmy Mallett have entered the jungle. But before they made it to camp the pair were caught in giant nets, and swept off the ground. They're now being held for ransom. The show is back tonight after being bumped for England's football friendly.
X Factor
There could be more controversy for X Factor's Rachel Hylton after she was spotted apparently making a gun gesture with her hands on last week's show. TV watchdog Ofcom's confirmed they're investigating a number of complaints. It's not been a good couple of weeks for the singer who's admitted she doesn't always see eye-to-eye with Dannii Minogue, her mentor.
GMTV
Business presenter Emma Crosby's been announced as the replacement for GMTV veteran Fiona Phillips. The Sky News journalist will join the breakfast programme early next year. Fiona announced she was leaving in September after fifteen-years on the sofa.
Louis Walsh
Louis Walsh has been caught dancing around to Same Difference. The X Factor judge laid into the brother and sister act week after week last year. Sarah and Sean say when Simon Cowell played him their new album Louis liked it, until he found out it was them.
