The Duchess

The Duchess has been released in cinemas nationwide now but you can watch the trailer here.

Like Princess Diana, her direct descendent, Georgiana Duchess of Devonshire played by Keira Knightley was beautiful, glamorous and adored by the public. But while her beauty and charisma made her a household name, one thing always seemed to escape her: love.

 

 

The good bits: If you're expecting a tame period drama, think again. The Duchess is full of drama, tension and raunch. Keira and Ralph are fantastic as the leads and the costumes are to die for.
The bad bits:  For those who are hoping to a Diana comparison as the trailer implies, there is in fact no mention of the late princess.
