The Women

The Women is showing in cinemas now.

 

Following on from Sex and the City comes another all girl movie about a group of New York women. At the centre of the story is Mary Haines, a thoroughly modern woman confronted with an age old dilemna: a cheating husband. The girls in her life rally to her side but when her Mary's best friend steps out of line, she has to endure an even more painful break up.

The good bits: A female enpowerment movie with a modern twist, and a cracking cast too.  
The bad bits:  Let's face it - this film is no Sex and the City.
